We did PR for Italian shoe brand's Alberto Guardiani store opening. 

6th week of internship

 This week I created a presentation for New Yorker clothing brand with all the publications and images it have been featured in last month.

5th week of internhip

This week I gathered online and printed news articles from events like "Expo Beuty 2015" and fashion show at Galleria Rīga.

Also I checked and made a list of all the media contacts we have and made sure they still are working in the same company and the contacts are precise.

As usual I checked printed magazines to see if our clients are featured in style pages or photoshoots and registered them.

Beauty Blender is one of our clients and this week we received a package full of  colorful beauty blenders.

4th week of internship

Here I styled a commercial post with Marks & Spencer products based on styling with color of the year - MARSALA.

After fashion week press event we hosted for designer Polina Samarina.

Fashion show at shpping center Galleria Riga which took place in it's art gallery. 

We took care of invitations, decorations and goodybags.

3rd week of internship

This week I spent by sending out invitations ,calling up people about upcoming events, organizing products and packing to send, translating and writing commercial product posts for bloggers and journalists, helping organize events and participating in them.

On March 17th Polhem PR together with Expo Beauty 2015 held a press conference for upcoming beauty expo show.

CHANGE lingerie event and presentation in collaboration with Britney Spears. Gathered bloggers, journalists, photographers and socialites. We took care about invitations, setting, refreshments, goodybags and more. Set design by Baiba Prindule

At the same day we had another event to go to. As it was Riga Fashion week we did PR for a russian designer Polina Samarina.  It also included two types of invitations, guest list and more. 

I also translated and arranged a commercial post about LUSH hair products to send out via emails. 

2nd week of internship

This week I spent scanning more products in to our portfolios, checking which designer sunglasses to send back to Italy, sending out and preparing invitations doing some translation work and more.

These are goody-bags we prepared to give out beauty bloggers. Bags include products from LUSH, URIAGE and others.

Internship update - 1st week

     Briefly about the company. POLHEM PR is Northern Europe public relations company that specializes in fashion, beauty, home decoration publication and event planning. Polhem PR’s basic strategy is to offer a comprehensive package of international PR services tailored to the cultures and languages of each country covered.  

    In first week of internship I learned about the company and what they do daily. In the first day I went along with the teem to meet new potential client., which was very interesting. Client is working with color therapy and what it tells about persons personality in addition with ethereal oils and creams. 

   Then, based on the information I entered on the system codes, prices, colors, materials and products that are available in showroom. Every product then has it's sticker that is attached to the product. Stylists daily visits our office and showroom to select pieces, to feature in blogs or magazines. Our clients regularly grants us with products to give bloggers or stylists so that they would advertise and try out products. One of our tasks is to keep track on magazines and websites that publishes client products. We record it and sometimes make presentations specially in clients requests.
